Channel [V]‘s rockin’ VJs Jane Gazzo, Renee Bargh and Danny Clayton today revealed who the OZ ARTIST 08 Top 50 nominees are in a special edition of WHATUWANT. Official voting has now commenced via SMS to 1999 85 85 and online at www.channelv.com.au.
Now in its twelfth massive year, OZ ARTIST remains the only award where music fans get to vote for the Aussie act they love the most. The result is based 100 per cent on viewer votes.Both Homebake and Channel [V] are champions of Aussie music and OZ ARTIST 08 is the perfect way to celebrate the work
of our local artists and allow fans to show their support.And if the chance to have a say on who’s the best Aussie act for 2008 isn’t enough, you could win the ultimate rock star trip for you and three mates to this yearâ??s Homebake – yep, that’s flights, luxury accommodation, VIP tickets and of course the rock star limo!
On Friday 7 November the Top 50 will be whittled down to the Top 4 finalists. Voting will continue until Sunday 7 December when the OZ ARTIST 08 will be crowned during a mega five-hour special.
